The dialogue over women, female characters, and, specifically antiheriones has changed. In the past even though these characters existed and the audience gets to enjoy them, the femme fatale ultimately has to be punished. I think that’s the difference in contemporary television and filmmaking; we allow for our three dimensional women to just exist.
What you whinging about? I’m not whinging. Your lips are moving and you’re complaining about something. That’s whinging.
